Modern patterns of eating behavior in children

Background. Nowadays, increasingly greater attention is paid to the problem of nutrition as a key factor in influencing child’s health and development. Eating disorders can be observed already early childhood, from newborn period. Purpose: study modern patterns eating behavior children taking into account age aspect. Material methods. One hundred thirty-eight aged 6 months 12 years were examined. The examination was anonymous involved use original questionnaire for parents, which consisted 70 questions. Results. During study, peculiarities different evaluated. In period, 5 main types analyzed, differed by breastfeeding act, there connection with further development functional digestive disorders. infants, 3 groups have been detected: regime disorders, gastrointestinal termination breastfeeding. habits within first 1,000 days characterized naughtiness third children, entertainment during meals, refusal eat at proper time. older general characteristics diet, family food taste preferences, well family’s cultural educational level had considerable influence on formation behavior. Conclusions. identification nutritional patterns, aspect set factors affecting formation, occurrence deviations, allows timely preventing pathological conditions determining approaches healthy habits.
